Sokokashiko

この日（ ４月８日）はまさにお花見日和。雲一つない青空に一面、はじけるように桜が一斉に開き出しました。

お日様が背中にぽかぽか暖かく感じられるほんわかした午後。大人も子供みんな嬉しそう。

私は又桜を見に公園をぶらりと散歩。先日の肌寒い曇り空の下で見る桜とはまた打って変わって、公園全体がまぶしく輝いていました。

ブランコに乗ってる子のゆれる髪、楽しそうに走り回る子供たちのはしゃぎ声、

よっこいしょとゆっくり肩を並べて遠くを見ているおじいちゃん、おばあちゃん達の優しい目、

宴会で楽しそうに飲んでいるおじさん達の赤い顔、大きな望遠レンズを握るおばあちゃんの手、

私はそんな様々な風景を見ながら、 みんなの目にはどんな景色が映って、どんな事を記憶に残していくんだろう，とふと思ったりしていました。

It couldn’t have been a better day for Hanami (flower viewing).  No clouds in the sky, and the air was bright and warm. Finally the cherry blossoms were full in bloom!

I was walking around the park feeling the warm sun on my back. Spring was awakening.

The wind blowing the little girl’s hair on a swing, the laughter of the little boys running around and around,

The gentle eyes of old couples sitting on the bench,

The relaxed feet of the old ladies smiling subtly,

Those red faces and the big bottles of Sake spread under the cherry blossom trees,

The moment the lady catches through her zoom lens, and etc, etc…..

I just kept following the view as if it had been a silent movie.

I wonder what they were seeing and what they are going to remember from that beautiful afternoon.
