minä perhonen  2011–2012^→ Autumn / Winter Collection

「わたしという あなた」と題されたミナ ペルホネンの秋冬コレクションのビデオ。あれ、この声は？と思って見ていたらやっぱり、ビデオの中でモデルとして出演しているのは二階堂和美さん。彼女の優雅な声と自由なパフォーマンスがミナ ペルホネンのイメージにとっても合っていて、まさに独特の世界がここにうまれています。

ちなみに彼女はNikaSayaとして７月末にバンクーバーで行われた「パウエル・ストリート・フェスティバル」という年一回の夏の祭事のため招待ライヴに来ていて、とても素晴らしいパフォーマンスを見せてくれました。（行ってきて良かったです、ほんと。）

新しくなったミナ ペルホネンのサイト、最近知ってまた嬉しくなりました。ここのテキスタイルデザインは永遠に素敵ですね。

I was watching the minä perhonen‘s 11–12^→ Autumn / Winter Collection video and it reminded me of  the show I went to recently.

The singer (modelling in this video); Kazumi Nikaido, was in Vancouver recently and did a fantastic live performance (as Nikasaya) at Chapel Arts as part of the Vancouver’s annual summer event; Powell Street Festival (the end of July).

Her clear and soft voice and the graceful motions seem like a perfect match for minä perhonen’s collection. The dreamy and distinctive world that they create together in this video is quire ravishing.

I’m also a huge fan of their textile design. So lovely.

クリエイティブ・ダイレクターがMarco Zaniniに変わってからずっと気になっているフレンチブランド、Rochas。

前回のプリ・フォールコレクションに引き続き今回のリゾート・コレクションもものすごく綺麗です。同じブランドでもデザイナーのヴィジョンによってこんなにもイメージが変わるものかと、改めて納得。

Rocha’s Resort 2012

Their creative director Marco Zanini brings such a wonderful collection every season. This resort collection is so so wonderful. I love it.  (I also really liked Rochas Pre-Fall 2011.)
