Mexican Restaurant | Sokokashiko

先日久々にメキシカンフード食べに行ってきました。

ここはバンクーバーのメキシカンレストランの中では一番評判良いんじゃないかと言われる「ドナ・カタ」です。2006年にオープンしたこのレストランは家族経営。”ドナ・カタ”はここのオーナー（ブレンダさん）のおばあちゃんの名前から取られ，本場メキシカンのホームレシピがここで今でも受け継がれています。

My friends and I had delightful lunch the other day at Doña Cata, a very good family-run Mexican Taqueria that serves up authentic Mexican food in Vancouver.

カラフルさが嬉しいメキシカン料理。夏にはぴったり，元気が出てきます。

タコスにかけるサルサも全てここのオリジナルレシピ。色々種類が豊富です。

自分で好きなだけかけて食べれるのが良いですね。

They have an excellent selection of homemade salsas in various chili-heat levels to choose from.

メキシカンは見た目も楽しく美味しく食べれる料理ですね。お腹大満足です。

What a great idea for summer lunch.

内装はこ〜んな感じ。やっぱりカラフル。

I like this restaurant’s cheerful Mexican art, the super bright blue paint, the floral wall paper and the enormous Mexican flag dangling from the entrance (below). It’s a colourful, homey space that feels like a little piece of Mexico in Vancouver.
